Blog 3 — Why Most Crypto Tools Are Not Built for Families

If you've spent any time in crypto, you already know the paradox: the technology is powerful — but the user experience is often unforgiving.

What goes wrong for beginners

Crypto promises freedom — but beginners often experience fear.

So why use it at all?

Because decentralised tools offer real benefits: ownership without intermediaries, open access, and the ability to operate outside single points of control.

Why this is especially hard for families

Kids should not have to manage private keys. They should not be exposed to scams. And they should not learn about "ownership" through irreversible mistakes.

My reason for building K3NZ

I built K3NZ because I couldn't find a safe way to introduce Web3 to my own kids. I wanted a tool that kept the benefits of decentralisation, but removed the dangerous parts for beginners.

In the next article, we'll explain what K3NZ does differently — and why a family-first model makes adoption safer and more natural.
